1968
Sam R. Rodgers founds the company in Lakeland, Florida — a family business from day one.
1988
Sandpiper Golf & Country Club opens; 232 homes sell in the first year of its 1,169 lots.
Shaping the course. 1990s
Estates of Beacon Woods (500 homes) and Legacy of Leesburg (999 homes) establish the Rodgers name across Central Florida.
The Estates model center. 2000s
Pelican Pointe Golf & Country Club — 1,325 homes — brings the family to Venice and the Gulf Coast.
Breaking ground at Gran Paradiso, 2004. 2010s
GreyHawk Landing (1,271 homes) and Gran Paradiso (2,000 homes) — award-winning communities, Parade of Homes wins, and a reputation for saying yes.
