Built to be stood behind

A warranty is only as good as the people standing behind it. We’ve been standing behind our homes since 1968

Why it holds

The people who warranty your home are the people who built it

A warranty is only as meaningful as the people standing behind it. At Sam Rodgers Homes, that means a local, family-owned builder that has been building on Florida’s Gulf Coast since 1968. Long after closing day, our commitment to your home continues. With decades of experience, deep roots in the communities we build, and a team that takes pride in the homes carrying the Sam Rodgers name, you know who to call when you need us.

Paperwork tells you what’s covered. Nearly 60 years of standing behind our homes tells you who’s behind it.

Greyhawk Landing - A legacy community

The record you can drive through

For nearly 60 years, Sam Rodgers Homes has built communities throughout Florida’s Gulf Coast. Thousands of homes later, many of those neighborhoods are still some of the best evidence of how we build. Drive through the communities we built years ago and you’ll see homes that have weathered Florida seasons, families, changing styles and plenty of everyday life. That kind of longevity matters to us.

Because a warranty is important. But building a home right the first time matters even more. Concrete block construction, Florida-focused engineering, careful inspections and decades of experience go into every Sam Rodgers home long before the warranty ever needs to.

The specifics

What comes with every home

One-year bumper-to-bumper

For your first year, the home as we delivered it is on us. If something we built or installed isn't right, tell us and we make it right.

Five-year structural

The load-bearing parts of your home — the structure itself — are warranted for five years from closing.

These warranties are in addition to the protections Florida law provides, never in place of them. The full written terms are part of your purchase agreement, and where this page and your agreement differ, the agreement governs.*

Good Questions

The warranty, answered

What do I do if I have a warranty issue?

Call the corporate office at 941.747.4131 — the same office that built your home handles its warranty, so you will not be handed to a call center.

What does the one-year warranty cover?

The home as delivered — workmanship and the materials we installed. If a door sticks, a fixture fails or a finish isn't right in the first year, that is exactly what it exists for.

What does the structural warranty cover?

The parts of the home that hold it up. For five years from closing, the structure itself is warranted by the company that engineered and built it.

Is the warranty in writing?

Yes. The full terms are part of your purchase agreement, so you have them before you close — and where anything on this page and your agreement differ, the agreement governs.
