Gabe Vasquez is the construction assistant — the support role behind the project managers who carry a home from blueprint approval through to the final walk-through.
On a semi-custom build, everything agreed at the kitchen table eventually has to become an actual house. When other builders say no, Sam says Yes; somebody then has to build the thing that was said yes to — the structural change a plan-book builder would have refused. That work lands on the construction team.
That has been the job here for more than a decade, which on this team is unremarkable: the project manager alongside has been here close to thirty years. Sam Rodgers Homes has been family-owned since 1968.
